Tax Supervisor

The first line of quality. The daily standard for tax work.

Currently held by Michelle Ferguson
Role Purpose

The Tax Supervisor owns primary (first) review of all Tax Specialist return work product, executes complex returns that exceed the Specialist's scope, and provides daily mentorship and technical development. This seat is the first quality checkpoint in the tax workflow — the Advisor's secondary review depends on thorough primary sign-off here. Supervisors are expected to collaborate across disciplines; tax workflows regularly connect to accounting close and consulting engagements, and that collaboration is a cultural expectation as much as a structural one.
